SARFEN

The "Structure And Reactions For Exotic Nuclei" (SARFEN) is a project selected through the project call launched by the European Network of funding agencies in Nuclear Physics (NuPNET).

SARFEN gathers 8 European partners (France, Bulgaria, Finland, Poland, Romania, Spain, Britain and Italy) and will last 3 years.

This project will allow developing theoretical models to better explain the nuclear reactions based on the internal structure of exotic nuclei. These studies are crucial to develop theoretical tools that will contribute to the success of experimental research with the infrastructures of tomorrow, such as SPIRAL2.

This project is funded by each funding agency involved in its own country.
